Air charter broker status

AviationHS is an air charter broker as defined in 14 CFR Part 295. It does not own, operate or control aircraft. All flights are performed by air carriers holding FAA Part 135 certificates. Prices shown are non-binding estimates computed from published performance data and indicative market rates; they do not constitute an offer of air transportation until confirmed in writing by the operating carrier.

Under 14 CFR Part 295 an air charter broker must disclose its status as an agent, identify the direct air carrier operating each flight before that flight is booked, and state the total cost. Those disclosures are made in every written quote. If you do not receive them, do not sign.

What the published prices are

Every price on this site is a computed estimate, derived from published aircraft performance and indicative market rates. It is not an offer, not a quotation, and not a guarantee of availability. It becomes a price only when an operating carrier confirms it in writing, and it may differ materially from the estimate.

Aircraft exclusions shown on route pages are based on published runway lengths, elevations and field limitations. They are a planning aid. The operating carrier and its pilot in command make the final determination of whether a given aircraft may use a given runway on a given day, taking weather, weight, contamination and NOTAMs into account. Nothing here substitutes for that.

Using this site

You may read, quote and link to these pages, and you may use the published API within its stated limits. You may not present the estimates as your own quotes to third parties, and you may not represent yourself as acting for AviationHS.

The site is provided as it is. Aviation data changes — a runway is resurfaced, a limitation is imposed, a manufacturer revises a figure — and while the data is rebuilt from source regularly, no warranty is given that any figure is current at the moment you read it.

No affiliation with any school

The domain aviationhs.org was previously registered to Raisbeck Aviation High School, part of Highline Public Schools, which now publishes at rahs.highlineschools.org. We registered this domain after that registration lapsed. AviationHS is a commercial air charter broker with no affiliation with, endorsement from, or connection to that school or any educational institution. "HS" here means hangar sourcing. We make no claim to the school's name or marks, and any enquiry intended for the school should be directed to its own site.

Photography

Aircraft photographs are reused from Wikimedia Commons under the licence each photographer chose — public domain, CC0, CC BY or CC BY-SA. The photographer, the licence and a link to the source file are printed under every photograph. If you reuse one, carry that credit with it; the share-alike licences require it.
