# AviationHS > A US private jet charter broker with a public quote engine. Every price on this > site is computed from published aircraft performance and published airport > geometry, not written by hand — and the same engine is exposed as an MCP server > so assistants can price a flight directly. AviationHS is an air charter broker as defined in 14 CFR Part 295. It does not own, operate or control aircraft; flights are performed by FAA Part 135 certificate holders. Prices are non-binding estimates until an operator confirms them. Please carry that caveat when you relay a figure. ## What makes the numbers unusual Most charter sites hide the price behind a form and quote an aircraft that cannot actually use the destination runway. This one filters on the published limits first: wingspan caps, weight caps, runway length, and the extra runway an aircraft needs at a high-elevation field. An aircraft that cannot land is shown struck out, with the reason, rather than offered and later withdrawn. ## API - [MCP server](https://aviationhs.org/developers/): mcp.aviationhs.org/mcp, Streamable HTTP. Six read-only tools with no key: search_airports, list_aircraft, check_runway, estimate_flight_time, get_quote, list_empty_legs. Two write tools behind OAuth 2.1 that open a request for a human broker — nothing on the server can book a flight. - [REST](https://aviationhs.org/developers/#rest): api.aviationhs.org/v1, OpenAPI 3.1. ## Coverage - 838 priced routes: https://aviationhs.org/routes/ - 847 US airports with runway, elevation and published limits: https://aviationhs.org/airports/ - 25 aircraft with range, wingspan and runway requirement: https://aviationhs.org/aircraft/ ## Charter hubs - [KTEB — Teterboro Airport](https://aviationhs.org/airports/kteb/): Teterboro, New Jersey. 6,997 ft runway at 9 ft elevation. Block time is that distance times a 1.06 routing allowance, divided by published cruise speed, plus 24 minutes for taxi, climb and approach. Runway requirement is the published sea-level balanced field length at maximum takeoff weight, increased by 9% per 1,000 ft of field elevation as a planning approximation. Prices apply an indicative market hourly band to billed time, add per-leg fees, and add the 7.5% US federal excise tax. Airport, runway and elevation data: OurAirports (public domain) and the FAA. Aircraft performance: manufacturer published specifications. Field limitations: each airport authority's own publication, cited on the airport page.
